Various contemporary authors have “researched backwards” very simple foods such as salt, eggs, cod, milk, etc. to demonstrate their concerns about food production, the economy, and health in the US. In other words, these analysts have looked at how food makes it way to our stores or to our plates. Choose a simple object (it doesn’t have to be food) and research it “backwards” to show how it was produced, by whom, and how much of your labor (as a proportion to number of hours worked) it costs to own and maintain it.

It needs to be 4 pages long and in your own words.
