Research and prepare a 3-5 page paper identifying three physiological changes of aging along with three psychological OR psychosocial changes of aging utilizing the Elder Care Interprofessional Provider Resource Sheets from this lesson.

Identify various care strategies or plans for long-term care leadership recognizing these identified physiological and psychosocial aspects of aging. In developing your care strategies, consider environment/facility considerations, nutrition, activity, sleep, safety, etc. that would be needed with the changes that occur with aging or disabilities.

long term care industry is the health care settings which provide medical & health care to old adult who are suffering with psychlogical changes of aging.long term insutry including nursing homes, community services etc provide care & nursing facilties to elderly people which thier family members are unable to do.

Physiological changes occur with aging in all organ systems.following are some changes-

cahnges in blood pressure cause of aging

loss of apetitte cause of decreases metabolism

decsrease in bone mass

inability to move with aging etc.

3. Care strategies or plans for long-term care industry development based upon your knowledge of the selected changes in aging and health -

Care stretegy for long term care should include following points-

quality care to elderly people in nursing home.

regular report of the condition of the patient to head nurse or manager.

regual nursing of the old people like- dressing,bathing, medication, etc.

check on regular diet & food to increase the metabolims of patient.

proper safefy controls as some old people may get frustrated to live in nursing homes & want to run away.

park or walk outside to refresh the mind of the old patients.

regualr checkups of the blood pressure of the patient.

above points in the plan would help in long term care to patient suffering from physchological changes in aging.

4. Summary paragraph-

Aging is inevitable but it brings changes in the person most of the changes occurs when people gets old because aging affects the body of the person pyschologically.people strated to show behaviors cause of changes in blood pressure, loss of appetitte, anger issues etc. these changes occurs cause of aging.

family & friends can help thier lederly people to an extent but as population is aging so there is need for long term industry in health care like nursing homes which provide supports to these families to medicate & nursing the elderly people for long period of time.these industries are also suppoerted by the governement & community.

these long term health care make plans to provide quality care to patient like nursing, medication, nutrition, dressing, bathing, checkups etc either inside the homes or outside facilities.
