Have you ever received an announcement in the mail at work where a firm is informing you that a valued member of the firm has gone on to other employment and wishing them well? Could this be the kind of notice that would have worked in this situation to have prevented this loss? If so, are these kind of announcements that we get from time to time at work and attempt on the part of the business to inform third parties in a socially acceptable manner of the termination of an employee or agent who has represented the firm in the past?
