Write out the rate law, including the order of reaction for both reactants, for the following reaction, and also list the value of k for the following reaction using the initial concentration and rate data provided.

2 NO(g) + O2(g) → 2 NO2(g)

The rate law should be in the following form:

Rate = k[NO]x[O2}y (except that you will have determined the whole number values of the exponents x and y)

k = (your value, with units)

Include the following:

-The value of the rate constant and its units. Please show your work for credit.

-The value of the exponents (order of reaction) for each reactant. Please show your work for credit.

-Your report should include written explanations off to the side (i.e., annotations) that explain what is happening with each step.
