The word "ergonomics" refers to improving a person's productivity and performance by adjusting their working environment to be more conducive to their needs as human beings. Applying ergonomic principles provides a wide variety of benefits, not only to the people who use them but also to the employees of various organizations. These benefits can be broken down into three categories: Musculoskeletal disorders, more commonly referred to as MSDs, are among the leading causes of accidents and illnesses on the job. Up to one-third of the expenses associated with treating injuries and illnesses can be attributed to these conditions (OSHA, n.d.). I will explain the significance of ergonomic assessment to the management team and how an investment in ergonomic assessments can benefit the workers. This will be accomplished by improving the employees' working environment and ensuring they have workstations that put as little strain on their bodies as possible.
It is to the company's advantage for the following reasons:

Employees will have an easier time carrying out their responsibilities, which will ultimately lead to increased levels of productivity on the part of those employees. A healthy posture and reduced levels of physical exertion and mental strain will make this possible. On top of that, it will improve the general quality of the task your team produces.
To increase employee participation, you must first acknowledge that your employees are valuable and deserving of your investment.
In addition to displaying concern for your own health, making endeavors to improve health and safety is a good sign.
