The assignment is to develop and write out a memo that is a follow-up to the prior meeting that took place. In the prior meeting with Champion Apparel that was about the utilization of social media, several important elements were surfaced. The meeting attendees believe there is a business value to leveraging social media, however, they could not reach an agreement on the definition of social media and what applications would be included in this definition. They were also not aware of the company's current external social media efforts. This is what needs to be addressed in the memo. The memo must include a definition/explanation of social as it relates to business and also include a review of the social media applications on Champion Apparel's current website and provide a summary analyzing how Champion currently leverages social media.
