Using one proportion z test to determine whether or not to support the claim.

A delivery truck brings in a shipment of tvs for a school. The assistant principal who ordered them wants to determine if the tvs 20 pounds on average as the company claims. This is important because tvs that are heavier than 20 pounds can cause problems for tvs stands. She calls on the stats teacher to help. He takes a random sample of 10 tvs and finds = 20.3 (σX = 1). What DECISION should the educators make in regards to accepting the tvs?

a) There is little evidence to reject H0, therefore they conclude the tvs are 20 pounds on average.

b) There is little evidence to reject H0, therefore they accept the tvs.

c)  There is fairly storng evidence to reject H0, the educators send the tvs back.

d) There is little evidence to reject H0, therefore there is no decision.
