A thermal reservoir at 1500 R transfers heat to 1lbm of air in a piston-cylinder device maintained at a constant pressure of 100 psi. During the process the air temperature within the cylinder changes from 540 to 940 F. The surrounding atmosphere is at 14.7 psi and 540 R. Using data from the ideal gas tables, determine the heat transfer during the process, the work done and the change in entropy of the air.
