A bucket packed with 1/2 - inch diameter steel balls weighs 50 pound. when packed with 1/16-inch diameter steel balls, the same bucket weighs 50 pounds (due again to the packing geometry of the balls). Using both size steel balls, the same bucket weighs 60 pounds. Did the density of the entire " bucket of balls" increase or decrease and how did it happen.
