Describe the process and criteria to be used to develop an initial long list of possible vendors In health care Project management Here are some points which needs to be included.

1. Include who is responsible for driving the development of the list of potential vendors for the long list and identify who will be available to answer questions from vendors.

2. Identify the sources for the development of the long list of possible vendors (i.e. How vendors will be identified for consideration/possible inclusion in selection process)

3. List the criteria and metrics your team will use for evaluating the vendors’ products and/or service capabilities EX: Technical Capability, Implementation costs, Ongoing maintenance/support costs, Production Capacity, etc.

4. List the criteria and metrics for evaluating the vendors themselves EX: Industry Experience, Management experience, Disaster Recovery, References, Market penetration, Strategic direction, Financial Statements, etc."

5. Describe the process for obtaining proposals or bids - how and what documents will be sent to potential 'long list' vendors. Identify what kinds of project information (ex: High level specifications, Quality expectations, Performance expectations, Quantity, Timeframes, Post Project Support, etc.) should be included when contacting vendors on the long list.

6. Describe the response format and timeline for the vendors to respond. [This should be designed to facilitate evaluation / scoring of responses].
