A thermocouple located at the center of a long circular duct with a 10cm diameter has a spherical bead of 2mm diameter. It indicates 185 degree C for a case in which the temperatures of the gas and duct are known to be 200 degree C and 140 degree C, respectively. Use this information to determine the convection coefficient for heat transfer between the gas and the bead, assuming radiating surfaces are black.
