The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is standardized to be normally distributed with a population mean of 500. A parent is trying to decide whether to enroll their child in an SAT preparation course, and wants to know if the students who take the course actually do better on the SATs. The mean SAT score of the 25 people who took that course last semester is 560, with a standard deviation of 100. Use the appropriate hypothesis test to examine whether people who take the course score better than the rest of the population on the SATs. Use a= .01
