Assessment Description: You are being considered for a job as a Compliance Officer by a company and charged with writing recommendations to its Board of Directors' Data Ethics Committee to decide on:
Adopting a new technology solution that addresses a specific business need, and
The opportunities and risks of this technology in terms of privacy, cybersecurity and ethics.
Your Task
Choose a company to which you will make the above recommendation. You must choose a company which starts with the same letter as the first letter your first or last name.
Part B (Case Study): Students are to write a 700-word case study.
Assessment Instruction:
Record yourself doing the video quiz using zoom screen share.
In Week 4 class your lecturer will take you through how to record a video using Zoom (instructions on MyKBS under assessment table)
You will log into zoom using the instructions, share your screen and start recording.
You need to review Weeks 1-4 of class content, chose a company and technology for Part B and be prepared to explain your answers.
PART B: Case Study

Adopting a new technology solution that addresses a company need, and
The opportunities and risks of this technology in terms of privacy, cybersecurity, regulations and ethics and how this might affect the feasibility of the project
Case Study Section
Introduction about the use of new technologies in the organization you are applying for a job in (your pick of IoT, AI, blockchain, or secure web payments etc.) and explaining how it can enhance company performance. Example sources:
