Humans are adapting to the enviroment by creating aids/tools; we are actually on the verge of being able to select desired traits by using genetic engineering, in-vitro fertilization, and other molecular biology tools. For example, we can now detect and correct some genetic diseases and we also have the tools to select the sex of a baby and/or some of the baby's physical characteristics. No longer does an individual have to have a decent diet to survive, reproduce, or age because there are drugs that have been developed to correct these things. What effect will this have on human evolution? Use facts/examples and the concepts of genetic drift, gene pool, adaption, selection, genetic flow, etc to explain answer.
What makes RNAi different from other forms of mutagenesis? What are some developmental defects caused by RNAi?
Explain the background for your selection of resistance. Include details about the disease or pest and the established control strategies.

Deinococcus radiodurans is a bacterium that was isolated from cooling ponds in and around nuclear power plants. It is highly resistant to ionizing radiation. Propose an hypothesis to explain the high level of radiation resistance and an experiment..
Biological processes must adhere to the first law of thermodynamics which states that energy is neither created nor destroyed, but can be transferred from one system to another and be transformed.
