Question

I am personally struggling with another co-worker at the moment. Thinking back on and participating in various courses as I work towards my RN degree. I know that right now, I am acting in a way that could be described as "everyday racism" against this nurse because of unintentional presumptions and behaviours that routinely dissuade people from things (Srivastava, 2022, p.11). Cultural competence has been defined as a continuous process through which health professionals strive to acquire the ability to work with people from different cultural backgrounds and to provide culturally competent care to patients (Belintxon et al., 2021, para. 1). In order for me to continue developing my cultural competency in the healthcare industry, I must first understand that learning as a core value enables me to recognize the injustice with another co-worker. how would you reply to this comment?
