This year, we looked at the different ways ethical judgments are perceived, mediated, and handled in modern organisations. Within organisations, a number of policies and procedures are used to try to govern ethical behaviour; these processes can make demands on us not only as employees and managers, but also as consumers, citizens, and family members. As Critchley (2007) has demonstrated, such ethical expectations can influence not just our motivations and acts, but also our sense of moral selfhood.

Write a 1000-word essay about some ethical dilemmas that individuals have faced within organisations during the current phase of the COVID-19 crisis - a phase in which most countries' government furloughs and national lockdown policies have ended, and organisations are attempting to resume some level of normal activity despite labour and supply chain shortages, as well as ongoing health risks for employees.

In order to build your point in this essay, you must use actual, real-life instances as published in the media or in publicly available corporation records or government reports.

You must also use Critchley's (2007) framework for understanding the nature of individual ethical experience, which includes his concepts of "demand"
