Certain bacteria have the ability to produce capsules that allow them to hide from a host's defenses. Before bacteria were introduced into a host mouse in the lab, the capsule genes were not expressed. Within minutes of being introduced into the mouse's bloodstream, however, the genes were actively expressed. Explain the type of gene expression that is most likely involved in this response.
