Being in a group of two, discuss how did you support and lead your organization during a crisis or a change event. This scenario could be a serious workplace accident, sudden change in work policies or new technological implementation. Produce a report (in MS word) and give a presentation to your supervisor. Your report must cover the following aspects.
Part A
i. Introduce your organization and briefly outline the crisis or change you handled.
ii. Describe your personal understanding on different learning approaches.
iii. How did you encourage and engage people during this time? (Hint: collaborative communication)
iv. How could you positively convey organizational direction and values to relevant individuals and groups?
Part B
v. Analyze the impact of your leadership and critically review your leadership approach during the change scenario.
vi. How did you assess your staff members' competency to contribute in the change processes and plans?
vii. You know that learning and communication solutions are designed to address problems and risks during organizational change. Develop at least one learning and communication solution that you could have used in the change event?
viii. What type of leadership do you think is the best respond to the impact of change on people and processes? Justify.
