As aspiring professionals in the field of social work it is important for students to understand the ethical responsibilities and professionalism expected of them. One important way by gaining an understanding of the Social Work Code of Ethics. For this assignment you will:

1) Read through the NASW Code of Ethics.

2) From the Code, choose 3 ethical standards you believe are important for working with clients you'd like to work with in the future. Be sure to write each standard out with the correct numerical identifier from the code. (e.g., 1.06 Conflicts of Interest)

3) Explain for each chosen standard why you chose it and how you see it implemented, or you imagine it implemented when working with your identified population.

4) Explain for each chosen standard, how it being applied would benefit the relationships among client/staff and staff/staff and if not implemented how those relationships might suffer. For this question you may have to imagine a work environment were the standard would be beneficial.

5) Your completed assignment should be submitted in the Assignment section. Do not send it as a message attachment.
