Gonzalez, in his book "The Story of Christianity (2010)", chapter 26, page 302, makes this statement: "...from the perspective of the history of Christianity, the most important event of the nineteenth century was the founding of a truly universal church in which peoples of all races and nations had a part". After reading the following chapters,

1 - Was Gonzalez correct in his identification of "the most important event?"
