This assessment aims to demonstrate and test your skills in working with an industry operating system and in configuring a basic network. You will be given a set of scenarios for a number of tasks to perform and document your work as per the instructions given below.

Task 1: Fully complete and show evidence of successful completion of the Cisco Networking Academy Introduction to Packet Tracer, and Networking Essentials courses. Show captures of the screens confirming your course completion ensuing to follow the instructions given on how to add screen captures to your report. All active assessments/quizzes and end of course survey must be completed to confirm successful completion of each course.

Show captures of the screens confirming your course completion ensuing to follow the instructions given on how to add screen captures to your report. All active assessments and end of course survey must be completed to confirm successful completion of the course.

Task 3:
3.1 Complete the attached Cisco Packet Tracer worksheet (posted alongside this assessment brief) making sure to justify your actions and clearly demonstrate the commands and steps taken to identify the issues in the
.pka file(s). For this PT, make sure to configure your User Profile on PT under the Options menu item to your name and email address along with your ID written in the Additional Info area. Your .pka should then be saved to have this set of details stored. Failure to configure your User Profile will results in 2 marks out of 20% deducted.
3.2 In your technical report, discuss one technology from each of the network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, or spanning tree, and one of the techniques such as VLANs, or WLAN used in the .pka file. The report should evaluate the selected technology based on different criteria that you identify with it, such as application area, performance, strengths, weaknesses, and any others (you have the choice to add other criteria deemed important which must be justified in your discussion). Your report must use Harvard citations and referencing.

- Identify a suitable solution for the given scenario
- Install, configure, and operate the network solution in an industry-standard multiuser system.
- Justify your choice of network solution (contextually, technically, and in terms of meeting current organizational norms and trends and satisfying the business context).
- Develop a testing strategy and test your solution.
- Critically evaluate the behaviour of the system.
- Reference your work according to academic standards.
