Individual Strategy Report
Purpose of this Assessment
The purpose of this task is to help students recognise the importance of understanding of organisations in the real-world. The strategic analysis will incorporate considerations of the conceptual frameworks and the different strengths and weaknesses of the analytical tools for strategic analysis
Students will select and apply the appropriate tools to produce the most effective analysis to allow the development of recommendations. Students will also consider the validity of published information in the context of undertaking a strategic analysis and producing recommendations, to address specific issues such as (i) context (ii) change (iii) turnaround.
Task Required
Students are required to further develop the analysis, findings and recommendations produced for CWK1.
By agreement with the module leader each student will select specific elements from CWK1 for further investigation to be presented as an individual report,.
The elements selected for further investigation will be different for each individual member of the group to allow the development of original individual work for CWK2.
