To emphasize understanding of neurological and musculoskeletal anatomy, physiologic functions, and abnormal dysfunctions. There is particular focus on multi-stage conditions such as seizure disorders, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's. This assignment requires students to write about a multi-stage disease or disorder of the neurological or musculoskeletal system. This disease or disorder should be non-acute, i.e. it should follow a progressive etiology over various stages/steps.

1. Anatomical Location: where does this disease primarily take place?

2. Mechanism of Cause: how is this disease conceived (e.g. trauma, genetics, aging, etc.)?

3. Physiologic Condition: what should healthy cells/tissues/organs look like?

4. Progression/Stages: what are the stages of this disease?
