1. Why do you think that some species/strains of bacteria are resistant to disinfectants? 2. Antimicrobial chemical agents mostly act as disinfectants rather than as sterilants. Why do you think that is the case? What is the difference between sterilization and disinfection? What properties make an antimicrobial chemical agent a good disinfectant?
