Communication: The ability to effectively communicate with others is critical for any human resource manager. They must be able to communicate both verbally and written, and be able to do so in a clear, concise, and professional manner.

  • Organizational Skills: Human resource managers must be highly organized in order to effectively manage the many different aspects of their job. They must be able to prioritize and manage their time wisely, as well as keep track of important details and deadlines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Since human resource managers deal with employees on a day to day working environment and it is therefore important that they are good in it. They must be able to build relationships, resolve conflicts, and motivate others.
  • Critical Thinking: Human resource managers must be able to think critically in order to make sound decisions. They must be able to analyse data and information, and identify and solve problems.
  • Knowledge of Employment Laws: Human resource managers must have a thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations. They must be able to compliance with these laws, and advise and support employees and managers on compliance issues.
