Purpose To assess your understanding of effective social media use for business.

• Action Items
• Locate one good example of social media use by a company and one bad example of social media use by a company. Please do not use an example that has already been posted.
• If you cannot provide a URL location for the example, capture a screen image of the site and create an image of the web page.
• Write a paragraph (100-200 words) about each example that includes the following information: o The target audience for the example. o Your evaluation of why the example is good or bad. Include at least one reference to support your positions.
• Post your example on the discussion topic, "The Good and the Bad." Include your paragraph and location of the example or the image.
• Read the postings by your fellow students. Respond thoughtfully to at least two of their postings.
