Whether it be the nutmeg (Ghosh), imperial importers (Go), asylum seekers (De Leon, FitzGerald, The Swimmers), global norms (Chorev), diasporic subjects (Biswas), or infection diseases (White), we have examined contemporary globalization and transnationalism through several different "movers." Each of these movers provides us with a different perspective on the politics of contemporary globalization.

1. Pick two of these "movers." Briefly outline and then compare the perspective that each offers us about the forces, structures, and outcomes of globalization. What are the similarities and/or differences?
