The Scenario

Select an organization, which is in manufacturing or service sector. Use the selected organization throughout the whole report as a case study. When candidate selecting the organization, he/she needs to consider on following criteria; size of the organization, level of establishment, brand value within the industry

Task 01: Identify the mission, objectives & responsibilities of an organisation within its environment

Task 1.1 Identify  the   vision, mission, objectives,  and underlying values of the selected organisation

Task 1.2 Identify  three   stakeholders of   the   selected organisation and explain their power & influence to the organisation

Task 1.3 List and explain all the responsibilities of the organisation and analyse the strategies used to achieve the organisation's objectives

Task 2: Investigate the economic, social & global environment in which organisations operate

Task 2.1 Briefly explain how a country's economy impacts on to an organisational operations/financial stability

Task 2.2 Explain the limitations of the different government trading  policies available in the commercial business world.

Task 2.3 Evaluate how the macroeconomic policy measures impact on the UK economy

Task 3: Investigate the behavior of organisations & the market environment

Task 3.1 Select an organisation of your choice from the apparel industry. Explain the different market structures, using relevant examples from the apparel industry

Task 3.2 Explain what a competitive market is. (Use practical examples to justify your answer) Discuss some example behavior strategies that the organisations/ companies use to survive in different markets.

Task 04: Explore the significance of International trade for businesses

Task 4.1 Define what "International trade" is. Identify & brief out what are the domestic markets available. By taking a simple example, explain what is a product lifecycle

Task 4.2 Explain the features of European Union and analyse the challenges and opportunities to UK business of enlargement of EU Member states
