Mr. Jones was diagnosed with stage 1 prostate cancer 2 years ago. He has been undergoing treatment since the diagnosis. However, an increase in PSA led his doctor to investigate the progression of the cancer. As a result of further testing, his prostate cancer is now designated as stage 3. He wants to know what this change means. How would you explain it to him?
