1. Twins are separated at birth and when they are reunited at age 30, they figured out that they both are very creative and use their creativity in different ways. One became an artist (painter), and one became an architect.

• According to the nature vs nurture theory, explain why they both chose to use their creativity in this manner. 

2. Brendon and Alisha recently got hired in a marketing firm. They both get $90,000 per year and they are both happy with their pay. Brendon seems to be happy doing work within his job description and anytime he is asked to perform additional tasks he asks for additional pay for that task. Alisha on the other hand is very open to additional tasks added to her job description and she seems to be excited to learn more and grow within her capabilities within the organization. She goes above and beyond because she has her own personal standards that outweighs the opinions of others,  

• Explain the two different types of motivations between Brendon and Alisha and explain why.  

3. Explain how self-serving bias can affect perception.

4. John loves his mother very much and he has watched her raise him and his little brother up as a single mom all his life. Recently, a few neighbors were complaining to him that his mother is quite rude to them in the parking lot, when she is on her way to work. She uses mean gestures and can be quite disrespectful.  John finds it hard to believe that his mom has any of these qualities and blames the neighbors for misrepresenting his mother's character John has a bias toward his mother, and due to this bias, he is not able to see some of the negative traits his mother possesses.  

• Describe the type of bias that John possesses and explain your reasoning.
