In the United States we have three main types of foreign policy, which include diplomacy, foreign aid, and military force. I believe the most important policy issue facing to the United States today is keeping the country safe and protecting human rights. Both of these examples tie into each other because if the humans rights aren't protected then it's very hard to keep the country safe.

I believe the United States is facing this problem because there is a lack of care along with communication somewhere. The president has the most important role in foreign policy, so therefore at certain times that is why human rights are protected. Some times it's not just on the US president, but it is on the citizens too. We all have to come together in order for their to be any kind of change in either one of those areas.
