Defined: Business Torts- They deal with misconduct, personal injuries, negligence, and mal practice.

It shares overlapping with other areas that deal with law and business contracts, There are involvement with the interest of business.

Examples:

Wrongful Inference- individual interferes with legitimate business wrongly with interests of another

Unfair Competition- trademark and copy right infringement

Disparagement- this is when the party makes false statements about quality of material or products, end result loss of money business to plaintiff

Computer Torts- damage to business's computer's and software which has proven to affect a business negatively

Common Law Business Torts

Injurious Falsehoods- sometimes called "Trade Disparagement" consists of publication of statements that discredits the owners products or its reputation of quality.

Intentional Interference with Contractual Relations- this generally defined as one company needing employees to fill positions, so to fill positions they raid other companies for employees signed contracts and so in this type of situation employers cannot induce them to break these contracts.

Negligence- major of Tort liability which involves a type of unreasonable behavior that can result in injury.
