Question: A developmental psychologist placed children in a social situation in which they were either rewarded or punished (Factor A: consequence) by a parent, sibling, or stranger (Factor B: type of adult). Following this social situation, children were placed back in the same social situation, and the time it took them (in seconds) to engage in the punished or rewarded behavior was recorded. The hypothetical results are given in the following table.

(a) Complete the F table and make a decision to retain or reject the null hypothesis for each hypothesis test.

(b) Compute simple main effect tests for the type of adult factor at each level of the consequences factor. Use Tukey's HSD to analyze the significant simple main effects. State your conclusions using APA format.
