The voltage, measured in mV, produced by a type-K thermocouple for vari-ous junction temperatures is shown in Table P18.

1. Use the method of selected points to obtain an equation for the curve.

2. Using the equation found in part (b), find the voltage for temperaturesof 150,575, and 850°C.
