Can you think of two variables that exhibit either a positive or a negative correlation? Are you able to generate a data set of at least 10 coordinates? Once you have the data set, can you generate a scatter plot?

Based on the scatterplot, what do you see? Basically, does the scatterplot indicate what you thought about the relationship? If data is positively correlated, the scatterplot should increase from left to right. If the data is negatively correlated, the scatterplot should decrease from left to right.

Also explain why the correlation makes sense for your particular data set.
