Two uncharged spherical conductors are separated by a long distance. Sphere A of radius R1 = 8cm is charged with Q1 = +6µC while sphere B of radius R2 = 2cm is charged with Q2 = +4µC.

(a) Determine which sphere is at a higher potential.

(b) A thin and long conducting wire is used to connect the spheres, as in the figure, would the charge on sphere B increase, decrease, stay the same? Explain.
