The ABC Corporation produces Part X. Part X uses the following two-stage production process:

Machine 1- Machine 2- Part x

Machine 1 can produce 150 units per hour of Part X. Machine 2 can produce 100 units per hour of Part X. There have been complaints on the shop floor that Machine 1 is producing too many parts and it is chocking Machine 2. Your boss is suggesting that you implement a Kanban system to solve this problem.
