Imagine that you are a manager of a small business, and have two dilemmas: 1) You have been instructed by the owner (your supervisor) to conduct a MANDATORY meeting for all employees next Friday; however, you are personally aware that one of your employees is from Kuwait, and views Friday as a religious day of rest. Friday is the only day that your supervisor will be in town to meet with the team. 2) One of your employees consistently has a strong body odor that is not favorable among the rest of your staff members. Several employees have reported this issue of concern to you over the past few months. How would you handle these two situations from a managerial perspective?
