When you are studying "Two-Sample Tests of Hypothesis" and you get to the 6-step problem solving method, one of the steps is to determine whether you need to use the z-table or the t-table. I am having trouble understanding this step because in my book, even when you are using the z distribution, you still have to get your critical value from the T-table. This is really confusing me. Can anyone explain this better?
