Power and politics are two of the most difficult things to use ethically. For most people, it can become very difficult to ethically hold power. Power can create mix of new emotions in a person as they start to feel above others and in control of themselves and others. For politics, people typically are trying to create change that in some way will benefit them. This creates difficulty in maintaining an ethical standard as when someone is attempting to benefit themselves they tend to disregard others. So, in order to hold both power and politics ethically, it is key to remind yourself of how actions will affect others. If those actions will affect others in a way you wouldn't want to be treated. Then you are more than likely straying from your own ethical standard.
