An Airline at the Houston Airport tried to please passengers by always docking airplanes within a one to two minute walk of baggage claim. They would have all baggage in the claim area within eight to ten minutes of arrival. Unfortunately despite the airline’s best effort it received and large amount of complaints about travelers having to wait a long time for baggage retrieval.
After doing research the airline found that there was no way for it to get the luggage to baggage claim any faster than it already was. The airline did not change its’ baggage unloading procedure but did change another aspect of the arrival process and the complaints disappeared.
