Problem: The system pictured below consists of two blocks of mass m connected via springs to two walls. The springs all have spring constant k. a) Write the equations of motion for this system. Use as your variables the displacement of each block from its resting place. b) Write expressions for the positions of each block as a function of time for the normal mode in which both blocks begin at their resting positions traveling in opposite directions.
