Suppose you are trying to turn a stubborn bolt using a wrench. You exert a force F perpendicular to the end of the wrench with a length of 8" and the bolt does not move. Frustrated, you borrow your neighbor's wrench extender, which increases the length to16".  You then exert the same force F perpendicular to the end of the extended wrench and the bolt begins to rotate! Explain (in 2-3 sentences) why this adjustment worked using the concept of torque and its properties.
