OBJECTIVE:
In groups of 4 students, create a detailed customized itinerary proposal with a pricing spreadsheet breakdown from the perspective of a Customized Travel professional.
Students will continue to develop their itinerary planning skills by applying the planning with PRIDE principles to create a balanced itinerary with experiences that meet the client profile MNEs. Students will be required to design and finalize itinerary proposal and complete the pricing spreadsheet within their student groups.
1. ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION:
You must take into consideration the information outlined in the client profile document when creating the itinerary. Your completed assignment should include the following:
1. DETAILED CUSTOMIZED ITINERARY PROPOSAL (WORD) - Itinerary Proposal must include a summary of the recommended and included experiences for each day of the itinerary. Itinerary and experience descriptions should be detailed and personalized with any tips or suggestions to help prepare your clients for each day.
2. REFERENCES AND CITATIONS - APA citations and reference pages required.
3. PROPOSAL PRICING BREAKDOWN SPREADSHEET (EXCEL) - Pricing Sheet with costing of customized itinerary product. The EXCEL template will be provided as a platform for your pricing breakdown and should be customized as needed for your itinerary.
4. PROOF PAGES (EXCEL) - Proof screenshots of pricing for all components in your itinerary must be included in the corresponding tabs within the pricing template. Remember all component proof pages must be cited in your references.
2. ASSIGNMENT SUBMISSION AND GROUP WORK DETAILS:
Please note the following guidelines in preparing your assignment :
1. Typed, 12 font Calibri or Arial on 8.5 x 11 paper, with margins set at ‘normal' (2.54 cm) in document format (.doc or .docx).
2. Please include a professional cover page (include student names/numbers, assignment name, professors name and itinerary cities and dates).
3. Properly source all ideas or words that are not your own, using APA style.
4. Length will vary depending upon how you format your assignment. Assignment lengths will not be graded, however all key elements of an itinerary proposal must be present and professionally presented.
5. Feedback will be provided in each class based on work completed.
6. Submission: Please visit the "Assignments" section of Blackboard for submission instructions. All itineraries must be submitted in .doc or .docx format. Pricing spreadsheets must be submitted in .xls or .xlsx format. No other formats are permitted.

Airport Transfers, Hotel Accommodations, Excursions and recommendations should be planned according to the client MNEs in the client profile.

The clients are arranging for a private charter flight and will plan to arrive into your selected destination at 1:55pm on April 21. The inbound flight will depart your selected destination at 7:10pm on April 25.

Hotel & Meal Preferences
|
Clients would like to be surrounded by luxury, preferably with a water view from their room/suite. The clients have both shared their love for food and would like to learn about the variety of dining options at the resort.

Excursions /
Activities
|
The clients would like to experience some of the destinations key attractions off of the resort (following all local regulations for the pandemic) and would like to ensure recommendations are well balanced with time to relax and enjoy the resort amenities. Recommended excursions and resort features/amenities must be described accurately to the client with supporting statements linking highlights of the experience to the client MNEs.
