Does this make sense "I will use the Traumatic Brain Injury Model Systems (TBIMS) National Database, the largest national longitudinal TBI database, containing vast information from pre-injury characteristics to post-injury outcomes. The database currently has data on over 18,000 participants 18 years or older who have undergone acute patient rehabilitation for a primary TBI diagnosis in the United States. The database is de-identified and available for public use, ensuring privacy and accessibility. I will be selecting specific variables and data points of interest to analyze. These variables will include mental health risk factors such as (depression, anxiety, and substance use) and demographics (such as age, gender, race), and injury-related information (such as cause of injury and the severity of TBI). By selecting relevant variables from the database, I can analyze the data to explore further the relationships between the factors I mentioned, contributing to the overall understanding of traumatic brain injury and housing instability outcomes."
