My doctor is a young man (compared to me). He is from India. His name is Dr. Demmon. I call him Dr. Demon. Every time I go to see him he says, "Dr. Mason you must lose more weight!" I just want to slap him. He is a vegetarian, tall, skinny. If I smell a hamburger I gain a pound, yet alone eat one! We know that organic molecules are fundamental to our nutrition. My problem is a little too many carbohydrates, but what role do enzymes and micro-nutrients play.

Discuss the role of vitamins (enzymes?) and minerals (micro-nutrients?) in the transfer of energy through metabolic process in humans.
