As you can see from the trade and foreign direct investment (FDI) data, the magnitude of trade and foreign investment flow is massive - an indication of the interdependency of nations and businesses, which, indeed, is both cause and consequence of globalization. Unfortunately globalization has been viewed increasingly by many more negatively as indicated by the recent Brexit and the rise of populism in many places. Why is the case?
