Background:

You have been employed full-time by Handsome Enterprises since September 2019, working five days per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, including one unpaid half-hour lunch break from 12:30-1:00 p.m. Your salary, not including vacation pay, is $20.00 per hour, before statutory deductions, and you have not taken any leaves from work since you started.

1. Your office is closed on Remembrance Day (Monday, November 11). How much gross* pay will you receive for this day

2. Your employer asks you to work on Christmas Eve (December 24) from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Christmas Day (December 25) from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. How much gross pay will you receive for each of the two days?

3. Your office is closed on Boxing Day (December 26). How much gross pay will you receive for this day?
