How do you figure out the total population for a squirrel population? You are given that sexual maturity has an effect on population growth and initial population has 10 sexually mature males and 10 sexually mature females. No mortality, all females mate and breed, sex ratio is one male to one female, each sexually mature female produces four offspring per year, and they breed at one year old. In year one there are 10 males, 10 females both sexually mature. No sexually immature animals are present, 20 males and 20 females are produced, making the total population after breeding 60. What are the numbers of sexually mature males and females, sexually immature animals, number of young produced, and total populations at years 2 and 3?
