A 577-bed general hospital had 15,846 patients discharged/died in 2005. Total deaths for the year were 497. There were 91 cases reported to the Coroner, and 361 autopsies were performed.

Total patient days were 136,995 and the total length of stay of discharged/died patients was 136,540.

Give the formulae, and using the above information compute the following:

1. Hospital death rate

2. Bed turnover rate

3. Net autopsy rate

4. Average length of stay
